  • NEW POSITION: From September 2026 to August 2028, I will be a Postdoctoral Researcher at IUSS Pavia, in Prof. De Toffoli's HUMATH Project. For the duration of this contract, I will be on unpaid leave from my position in Lisbon
  • I will be editor of the Proceedings of the 2026 SILFS Triennial Conference, to be published by College Publishing
  • My paper 'Philosophical Argumentation, Epistemic Injustice, and Recognition' has been accepted for publication in the journal Ratio
  • I will be participating at the beginning of September at the Third Biennial Conference of the British Society for the Theory of Knowledge at Oxford, giving a talk co-authored with Filippo Lanari.
  • I have been invited to participate in a Book Symposium on Kevin McCain's book "Explanatory Solutions to Skeptical Arguments", to be published next year in the Asian Journal of Philosophy.
  • I will be organizing a workshop at the IFILNOVA Institute in October 2026 on Wittgenstein and Davison together with Pedro Abreu and Nuno Venturinha. Invited Speakers: Claudine Verheggen, Robert Myers.
  • In August, I will participate in the 12th European Conference of Analytic Philosophy at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, with three talks on Epistemic Authority, Logical Monism, and Epistemic Duties to Engage.​

  • In July, I was at the ENFA10 Conference at the Universidade de Beira Interior, giving two talks on Epistemic Authority, and Logical Pluralism
  • I have been in the organizing committee of the 2026 Triennal SILFS Conference (Italian Society for Logic and Philosophy of Science) at IUSS Pavia, 29 June-2 July
  • On the 23rd of June, I held an outreach event at the Orientation Days of the Università di Pavia

  • CHANGE OF INSTITUTION: ​In September 2025, I began a new position as FCT Junior Researcher at the IFILNOVA Institute of the Universidade Nova de Lisboa with a 255,000€ Grant on my project 'Knowledge as Practice'
  • My paper "Innkeeper! Is the Wine Good Here?": Phenomenal Conservatism and the Arbitrariness Problem, was accepted at Grazer Philosophische Studien
  • My paper 'Dogmatism and Easy Knowledge: Avoiding the Dialectic?' has been accepted for publication at the journal Analytic Philosophy (after 2 years of review at that journal, I might add).
  • I gave talks at the following Society Congresses and Conferences between August and October: SIFA 25 in Turin, GAP.13 in Düsseldorf, SEFA25 in Seville, and SPF6 in Lisbon.
  • From June 23rd to July 28th, I was a Visiting Researcher at the Technische Universität Berlin, at the chair of Prof. Dr. Axel Gelfert.
  • On July 11, I was an invited speaker in the Philosophy of Mathematics & Epistemology Workshop at the TU Berlin, organized by Fenner Tanswell

  • On the 10th of April, me and Alessio Tacca (IUSS) hosted the workshop 'Trust & AI', at IUSS Pavia, with the participation of Annalisa Coliva, Giuseppe Primiero, Daniele Chiffi, and Judith Simon
  • In March, my Paper "Skepticism Needs No Scenarios" was accepted for publication in Philosophia

2024
  • In December, my Critical Notice of the Volume Kripke at 40, edited by Claudine Verheggen, was published in the International Journal for the Study of Skepticism ​[Link]
  • In November and December, I hosted the IUSS Speaker Seminar on Epistemology, featuring Catarina Dutilh Novaes (VU Amsterdam), Nastasia Müller (HHU Düsseldorf), Jesus Navarro (Seville), Alessio Tacca (IUSS), and myself as speakers. 
  • In November, me, Filippo Lanari, and Evelina Lissoni (IUSS) held an informal reading group on Robin McKenna's book Non-Ideal Epistemology. 
  • In September and October, I participated as a speaker at two conferences at the University of Glasgow and at the Universitat des les Illes Balears, on epistemology and Wittgenstein respectively.
  • The conference 'Epistemic Injustice in Public Arguments' - connected to my previous post-doc position at IFILNOVA - took place in Lisbon on the 17th and 18th of September.
  • On the 23rd and 24th September, I attended the Understanding Scientific Disagreement Workshop  - part of the PRIN Project  "Understanding Disagreement and its Impact on Society - at the University of Bologna
  • From the last week of June until the end of July, I was Visiting Researcher at the Technische Universität Berlin, in Prof. Axel Gelfert's research group
  • In July I gave a talk at the ENFA 9 Conference at the Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Portugal
  • The first workshop within the Project "Understanding Scientific Disagreement and its Impact on Society" will be held at IUSS Pavia on the 21of May, with Crispin Wright, Elijah Chudnoff, Deborah Kant, and Colin Rittberg as Speakers
  • ​I organized the conference 'Epistemic Injustice in Public Arguments', at the IFILNOVA Department in Lisbon, together with Dr. Federico Cella (BIAP Barcelona) and Dr. Maria Grazia Rossi (IFILNOVA Lisbon). It will take place on the 18th and 19th of September. The Call for Papers can be found here
